Memorial Day Weekend Full of Great Racing

Friday
Tim Krape started the weekend out right.  Tim won his heat race on the last lap Friday night at Clinton County Speedway, and then for an encore Tim started 12th in the feature and took the lead on the lap the counted the most, the last one. That's why he's the driver.

Saturday
It looked like Bill Benner was going to post his first feature win of the year, but just lost the handling in the last couple of laps.  It was a great effort.  The Tank, Keith Bissinger, looked strong early winning his heat race but had trouble keeping tires on the 11B in the feature.

Sunday
The Tim Krape express kept on rolling.  Tim picked up a feature win at Port Royal the night before in another car, and then headed out to Clearfield, PA to race his #07 355ci 2bbl car against a Pro Stock field that are allowed to run a 410ci 4bbl engine.  Tim started 11th in the feature and took home a 3rd place payday.

Monday
Hats off to Mike Kiehl who took his Selinsgrove Road Runner Car to Port Royal to run with the big dogs in Pro Stock.  Mike's thinner tires took the green flag of the feature on the pole, led the first lap and then settled in for a 7th place finish out of a 12 car field.  We're expecting big things from the driver from Ashland.
