Rothfuss Runs Away!!!
After a strong showing in the Road Runner 20 and two weeks off due to the weather, Ray Rothfuss drove the Green Machine #17 to victory lane at Selinsgrove. Rothfuss also won his heat race while The Tank, Keith Bissinger took home second in the heat.
Byers Built Engines went one and two in both races with Bill Benner picking up the other heat win. Mikey Kiehl's 21K looked strong finishing second behind Benner in the heat.
In Pro Stock 20 Jim Somers Jr. qualified his Byers Built Engine 7th fastest, while Lon Savidge notched the 11th spot in qualifying. Somers brought his #23 home 7th in the feature.
I'm still waiting to hear from some of our other drivers about his past weekend, and when I get the info, I will update it. Congratulations, Ray… it was your race to win Saturday night.
