The Tank Takes #10 for Byers Built in '08
Saturday, June 14th
(Selinsgrove, PA)
The Tank, Keith Bissinger, rolled on again Saturday night at Selinsgrove Speedway for his fifth win of the year. Our driver, Mike Kiehl looked strong early leading four laps of the feature, but soon Bissy roared the 11B out front and stayed there. It could have been anybody's race coming out of turn four, but the farmer from Orangeville got to the line first.
The track was a bit unusualy on Saturday night with the Road Runners running the inside line. Normally they run up near the guard rail, but it must have been too slick.
Bill Benner picked up a heat win. Port Royal rained out, so Tim Krape didn't get to run the purple 07 car again at Port. That does make ten feature wins for Byers Built Engines so far in 2008.
As a tribute to Keith, and for getting half of those ten wins we've put up so far this year, I'd like to post a pic of Keith from way back. Here's Keith back in '96 taking a win at the Grove. And for the record, Keith does call in if he knows that he's going to be a little late to the track. Also, the beef and pork that he raises are top knotch and very tasty, too! Here's that pic...
