The Tank Triumphs on a Tough Track

Keith Bissinger not only picked up win number 6, but a nice plaque, too, from the York Racing Club. Keith said that it was going to be a tough track to work with, and it wasn't one that he liked to race on. But, he's the driver... and he skated the ice to win Saturday night.
It was good to see the 201 running strong in the feature. Eric Pinkerton led for a couple laps and ran up front for most of the race. He did a nice job of wheeling in an unfamiliar car on a track he hasn't run in a couple of years.
I ran into Ricky Bender in the pits, and he's been putting the pressure on Bissinger in the Selinsgrove points race. The night before Bender was involved in a pretty bad accident at another race track. He was a little sore and had some belt welts on his neck, but he still made the program at Selinsgrove. It could come down to the wire between "Bissy" and Bender Bissinger has a 75 point lead on Bender right now, but there's still a lot of season left.
